Correction and Retraction Policy

Correction and Retraction Policy

JPIM (Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Manajemen) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of published scholarly articles. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing corrections, retractions, and other post-publication issues.

1. Corrections

JPIM may issue corrections when errors are identified in published articles that affect their accuracy or interpretation but do not invalidate the overall research findings. Corrections will be clearly identified and linked to the original articles.

2. Retractions

Articles may be retracted when there is clear evidence of serious errors, plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or other violations that undermine the reliability or integrity of the published work.

Retraction notices will clearly state the reasons for retraction and remain publicly accessible. Retracted articles will be appropriately identified and retained in the scholarly record whenever possible.

3. Expressions of Concern

The editorial board may issue an expression of concern when serious questions arise regarding the integrity or reliability of a published article but the available evidence is inconclusive or an investigation is ongoing.

4. Editorial Procedures

All correction and retraction requests will be evaluated fairly and transparently by the editorial board. Authors will be given an opportunity to respond, and appropriate editorial action will be taken in accordance with COPE guidelines.
